Dave Landis is a Lincoln radio legend.
He’s also the oldest member of The Eagle air staff and so he is at higher risk for Coronavirus complications. And in an effort to keep the number of people in the building to a minimum, Scott Kaye will be taking over the Nostalgic Rock show until further notice. If you want Scott to play something for you this week, fill out this form by Friday morning at 9:30.
In addition to a 35-year radio career, he served more than 20 years in the state legislature. More recently he served as the city’s Director of Urban Development and sits on the Lower Platte South NRD Board of Directors, in addition to hosting “Nostalgic Rock” show every Sunday from 9am-Noon.
Dave’s also a local theater legend and has toured the country in a one-man show portraying former Nebraska Senator George Norris, the father of the Unicameral. Here’s a look at Dave as Norris.
