Homebuilt Hero Winner

The winner of our random drawing was Bob Coats' 1934 Ford Coupe.

We're paying to put his car on display at the Hot Rod Magazine
2008 Power Tour, Tuesday June 10th and State Fair Park.

Here's what Bob said about his hotrod:

I have been working on this car for the last 8 years in my garage. The car is
powered by a 355hp small block Chevy motor with a 700R-4 transmission
and Ford 9” rear end. I have done all the work myself including turning my
garage into a paint booth to paint it, which is the first paint job I have ever
done and came out really great, so I definitely feel it qualifies as a “Home
Built” car. It made it’s maiden outing last year at Americruise here in Lincoln
and I would be proud to be able to return as a Power Tour participant
representing the”Eagle” KTGL.  Thanks for the chance to enter.
