Police Arrest Man In Connection To Lincoln's Latest Murder

LINCOLN -- It likely may have been over drug debt, but Lincoln Police are investigating the circumstances around a murder late Friday night outside of a home near 27th and "N" Street.  Investigators say 31-year-old Earl Richardson III was shot at least twice and was pronounced dead at an area hospital.  Police Chief Jim Peschong says no one was immediately around when the shots were fired, but Richardson had been outside when Tucker allegedly came up and shot him.  Richardson was found on the ground and was rushed to a Lincoln hospital, where he was pronounced dead.  A few hours later, police tracked down 26-year-old Danny Tucker of Lincoln and took him into custody for questioning about Richardson's shooting death.  Tucker was arrested for first-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.  Peschong says they did recover a gun, but he says they're not sure if that's the actual murder weapon.
