Lancaster Deputies Seize $50,000 in I-80 Traffic Stop

Deputies get $50,000 from two women pulled over after a traffic stop along Interstate 80 just outside of west Lincoln. Lancaster County Chief Deputy Sheriff Jeff Bliemeiser says 38-year-old Padoua Chang and her 59-year-old mother, Ma Xiong, were arrested following the stop late Friday afternoon about mile west of the NW 48th Street exit. Deputies found the money in a suitcase along with remnants of marijuana. Chang was arrested two months ago for having more than 150 pound of pot during a stop in Utah. Both women are from California.
