Kwik Shop Robbery Under Investigation

LINCOLN -- An armed robbery at a northeast Lincoln convenience store is still under investigation.  Police Captain Michon Morrow tells KFOR News the Kwik Shop at Touzalin and Fremont Streets was robbed just after 8:30am Sunday.  She says a man walked in with a handgun, believed to be a revolver, and demanded money from the clerk.  Captain Morrow also says the suspect then forced the clerk into the back office before leaving the store.  A K-9 track was unsuccessful.  Police are looking for, who they describe as, a black male with a bad complexion, about 5-9 with a heavy build, last seen wearing a large blue coat, baggy blue jeans and white shoes.  The employee was not hurt.
